Diving, the adventure that lasts a lifetime!

Stress and Rescue

Knowing how to prevent problems while diving is vital to having a successful dive. You learned good diving habits in your Open Water Course. However, both new and experienced divers should know what to do if a problem arises. The program teaches how to avoid, recognize and solve problems on the surface and under water. The SSI Stress and Rescue Home Study Manual and Video will make you a safer and more confident diver.

The primary goal of any specialty course is to teach you important skills in a fun environment.

KNOWLEDGE: All courses are taught using home study and short academic sessions.

SKILLS: In-water training gives you the opportunity to practice the skills needed to successfully perform in the open water.

EQUIPMENT: Due to the nature of the specialty, there is specific equipment that enables you to expand your diving experience.

EXPERIENCE: By learning the material of the specialty course, you can enhance your diving experience as a more knowledgeable, confident, safe and comfortable diver.

Proof of CPR training is required for issuance of the Stress and Rescue Specialty Card.
