NITROX

Enriched Air Nitrox

Divers don't breathe oxygen, they breath compressed air, the same air we inhale and exhale everyday. It is filtered to take out impurities, but there is nothing special about it. If, however, the percentage of oxygen is increased, it offers certain benefits. Diving with a higher mixture of O2 means more dive time, and divers feel less fatigued when using a slightly higher amount of oxygen. On the down side, Nitrox does have strict depth limits that divers need to understand. The SSI Home Study Nitrox Manual and Video are available, so you can start learning about Nitrox diving today.
Classes are the first tuesday of the month.
All classes start at 6:00 p.m.

Contact the Scuba Hut for additional dates and times of upcoming classes.
